Macjournal, how I love you.

For the last five years I’ve used Macjournal in one edition or the other (professional, standard, and the original free edition) from Mariner Software. I just dropped $34 on the new version, primarily because of it’s auto-encryption feature.

    I am trying to determine the difference between Evernote and Macjournal - which one would be best for me, etc.

    From the looks of Enote's latest release, it now can do audio and video.

    Looks like the only thing it wont do is publish to blogs directly. (and the other things you mentioned - the whoel web page feature is great.)

    I guess I just am wondering if you could expand on why you like it as much as you do.
  • While I enjoy evernote's features, I don't like the idea of storing my data on someone else's servers. I work in Operations and Security, and have many things which really shouldn't ever leave an encrypted file on my machine.

    MacJournal handles that, and the autoencrypt feature really helps out with keeping my data secure.
